Question -
When we sent an email to MA last year advising there hadn't been any reportable transactions, we overlooked sending the compliance renewal and $2k renewal payment along with it.
What should we do to rectify the situation while also submitting the current year's renewal payment? Is there a penalty or special filing process?
Answer -
Based on the feedback we have received from

Where in this scenario:
- No submissions in year prior
- Failure to submit payment was not done willfully
- Attempt is being made to correct the mistake swiftly
No penalties should be incurred however you will need to notify MA of this issue -
- From: "Pharmameddata (DPH)" <pharmameddata@state.ma.us>
- simply notify the department at the time where they renew this year and provide the fee associated with last year’s payment along with the fee and application for this year’s renewal. Please let me know if you have any more questions.
