Contract Core - User Admin Settings & Roles

The iContracts application includes configuration settings that allow for users to be created and assigned permissions to access modules and settings via user security roles.

User security and module roles can be accessed and assigned by a user with the USER_ADMIN role through Contract Core under the Admin tab, which has the following configuration options and settings:

User roles are grouped by module, and can be assessed by navigating to Contract Core -> Admin -> Role Management.



User roles associated with the Contract Core module include the following listed in the below table, and can only be assigned to users with the USER_ADMIN role by accessing the Role Management page. This allows the admin user to view and update user security roles by selecting/unselecting checkboxes next to the applicable user ID.

Alternatively, a user with admin permissions can also assign roles by user by navigating to Contract Core -> Admin -> User Management.

View individual user roles by hitting the MODIFY button next to the desired user alias.

Click the “Add Role” or “Remove Role” hyperlinks to add/remove roles as needed.

*Note: Available roles may vary in your environment depending on activated modules.
*Note: If a user is assigned a read-only role and a read/write role for a module or function, then the user will have read only access.

Contract Core User Roles

The below table outlines the user roles associated with the Contract Core module.

Role Name	Description
340B_VALIDATION	User can review history, configure eligibility, and schedule validations of 340B contracts.
APP_ADMIN	User can access and change core application settings.
AUDIT_CHANGES	User can see who and when product details, contract details, rebate details, and Medicaid details were last modified.
BATCH_JOB	Only assigned to the batch user. Enables user to run Python interfaces.
CHANGE_CONTRACT_OWNER	User will be able to change contract owner.
CHANGE_COT_HISTORY	User will receive a pop-up message when changing COT for a customer, asking if a user would like to change direct sales, indirect sales, and rebate history from the previous COT to the new COT.
CHANGE_REBATE_WAC_PRICING	User will be able to change the “WAC Pricing” setting on an Access or Access Admin Fee Rebate.
CHARGEBACK_RESUBMISSION_FLAG_RESET	User can override an already resubmitted line from a deleted resubmission debit memo.
COMPANY_CODES	User can add, change, or delete company codes.
CONTRACT_MAINTENANCE_READ_ONLY	User can view contracts, but will not be able to add, change, or delete contract data.
CORE	Allows user to login to application. User has write access to direct and indirect sales repair functions, customer maintenance features, product maintenance features, contract maintenance features, COT maintenance features, territory maintenance features, and GL Code maintenance features.
CORE_READ_ONLY	User can view customer, product, contract, COT, territory, and GL Code details. User cannot add, change, or delete customers, products, contracts, COTs, territories, or GL codes.
COT _MAINTENANCE_READ_ONLY	User can view Classes of Trade, but will not be able to add, change, or delete COT data.
CUSTOMER_MAINTENANCE_READ_ONLY	User can view customers, but will not be able to add, change, or delete customer data. User will not have access to the membership interface.
DASHBOARD	User will have access to dashboard reports. In order to see dashboard reports, the user will need the REPORTING or REPORTING_READ_ONLY role.
DEAD_NET_PRICE	User can add this field to contract by product level to show active product’s lowest price available for sale. For reporting use only.
DELETE_SUSPENDED_DIRECT_SALES	User will have a check box on the Repair Direct Sales with Invalid Customer, Product, GL Code screen that allows an item to be deleted.
DELETE_SUSPENDED_EXTERNAL_SALES	User will have a check box on the Repair External Sales data with Invalid Customer, Product screen that allows an item to be deleted.
DIRECT_SALES_DELETE	User will have a menu item under interfaces to delete direct sales by invoice date.
EDI_845_TAL	User will have access to release EDI845 items in Contract Core Current Open Items
EDI_867_TAL	User will have access to release EDI867 items in Contract Core Current Open Items
GLCODE_MAINTENANCE_READ_ONLY	User can view GL Codes, but user will not be able to add, change, or delete GL Code data.
HELP_EDITOR	User can edit online help.
MOVE_DIRECT_SALES	User will have access to the ‘Move Direct Sales’ page, located under ‘Contract Maintenance’
NO_COT_CHANGES	User will not have access to change Class of Trade for existing customers. User will still be able to add new customers.
PRODUCT_MAINTENANCE_READ_ONLY	User can view products and product groups, but user will not be able to add, change, or delete product data.
REPORTING	User can view report lists, and can create and delete user reports.
REPORTING_READ_ONLY	User can view and run reports without changing them.
REPORTING_VIEW_ONLY	User will be able to access reports with the privilege ‘Everyone – View’
REPORT_ADMIN	User can view report list, create and delete reports, and can access ‘Settings’ menu in ‘Report Maintenance.’ This role should only be assigned at the direction of iContracts.
SUSPICIOUS_ORDER_MONITORING	User can set up and review thresholds on products registered as controlled substances.
STATE_PRICING_REPORTING	User will have access to the State Price Transparency Reporting functionality, if subscribed.
TERRITORY_MAINTENANCE_READ_ONLY	User can view territories, but will not be able to add, change, or delete territory data.
USER_ADMIN	User can add and delete users, and can assign roles to users.
