How is the customer master database different from an HCE qualification?
Answer -
The Customer master database is the primary data store of all the HCE and HCO records, including both records that have been qualified and those that have not been qualified.
Here’s how the two parts work together:
- Add the entity (organization or person) to the customer master database within the Medispend Transparency Reporting Solution.
- Qualify in the HCE QUALIFICATIONS module: An EM client admin within your organization can review the 'Search HCE DB' functionality shown below:

From here a client admin can locate an existing HCE from within your customer master and then Create a qualification record from within the search results:
