Question(s) -
Do the HCP’s business unit, region, and functional area affect which contracts can be used for this HCP?
How are exceptions to the “HCP Qualification” process handled?
Answer(s) -
So long as the HCP is active, qualified, and the Due Diligence period falls within the contract effective period, the HCP will be available for selection in the CONTRACTS module.
Region, Business Unit and functional area should not impact availability in the HCP Qualification module.
The selected Needs Assessment drives the Region(s) and Business Unit(s) available for selection in the contract record, and the Functional Area of the Need pre-populates the contract record, but none of that impacts the available HCPs.
There are no exceptions to the HCP qualification process. If the business team has not created a qualification record for your Healthcare Entity, there will be no way to then create the specific engagement tying back to that service provider.
These attributes Do however impact users in the system. In order for a user to be available for assignment in a record, the user must have the same attributes as the record they intend to work.
