Question -
I have created an HCO covered recipient profile in the system and it went to the resolution center for a missing Tax ID.
What do I do to fix this if I do not have a Tax ID for the HCO?
Answer -
While Tax ID is not a required field, the system will automatically inform you if you have neglected to provide one for your HCO record.
When this error appears you have a few options to resolve it:
1) Contact the HCO and determine their TAX ID, update the record and save your change. The issue will then clear from the resolution center and create the HCO successfully.
2) Ignore the error from the resolution center
- Go to Covered Recipient Issues page of the resolution center
- Select View/Edit the record in question
- At the top of the page the errors noted will be displayed, Select Ignore next to the error.
- Select Save and Back to Resolution Center
This will ignore the missing Tax ID error and create the HCO CR in the system unless other errors are identified.
