How does the system determine if a spend transaction is a duplicate of another spend transaction in the system?

 

Answer -

 

The MediSpend Transparency Reporting Solution performs a duplicate check on HCEs and identifies HCE records with the same name, spend value, spend date, address, and/or tax ID. For individual HCE's the system will check against the NPI listed as well as the other factors noted above.
