Question -
I have a lead list of HCP's from a trade show. I only have first name, last name and organization name.
The spends haven't occurred at this point but I know who the Covered Recipient is that I will have the spend. Can I create a CR record with the information I have?
Answer -
Users can pre-enter an HCP list into MediSpend as long as they have the Name, Full Address and NPI.
We do suggest searching https://npiregistry.cms.hhs.gov/registry/ for updated information on your CR.
Users can also create a CR through a spend import. Include NPI and Last Name on the spend load and, if the information is accurate, the system will automatically create the Covered Recipient record upon import.
For ease of use, we also have compare features available within the system which allow you to compare your CR record to external data sources such as HDS, NPPES, and the Validation Physicians list.

This can be found at the top of the page when viewing your covered recipient.
